This extension is used for downloading links to the Internet Download Manager (IDM). It supports HTML files, mp3 files, images, and videos. By sending a URL to the Internet Download Manager, it's capable of downloading that specific file.
It offers two levels of integration, and you can choose which one you want to install. It's up to you whether you want to use the right-click context menu items, or you want to use the built-in download manager.
When you first use it, you'll be shown a pop-up for installing the IDM client. It will also be displayed when you try to send a download job to IDM.
